So last few months been tracking my periods. I normally have 7 day periods with cycles that last 34 days. For 2 months I only had 3 day periods. Last month I was 10 days late and only had a 2 day period. This month I'm a couple days late. My cervix are high and soft. Cervical mucus is white creamy. Breast are a little tender but that happens with pms also. Don't feel other pms symptoms though. Got some food aversion. What do you think?

Hello Anon
An ultrasound can let you know how far along you are. You are pregnant from the first day of your last period. That is how you calculate your due date.

Hello, so I have been trying for a baby for about a year now. And every since November of last year my periods would be three days late. And I wouldn't have blood clots or heavy bleeding. And then when my period would end I would still be cramping as if I was going to start again. I've took pregnancy test each time I miss my period and they always come up negative. Like this month I was suppose to come on the 1st of March and I didn't come on till the 4th and I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I just wanted to see if anyone went through the same thing I am going through. I'm losing my mind ladies. I'm crying and feel as if I'm dying each month from disappointment after disappointment.

I have not had a period in two months and have the same symptoms but the test is negative for every test I take. I'm trying to see what the problem is. My mom says it could be stress but I'm not. I have no idea but my husband and I want to have a baby and it has been disappointing to see that I'm not pregnant but am going through so much.

Hi there!
So my husband and I have been trying to conceive for about 6 months now, with no luck. I've always had a pretty consistent period usually starting around the 8th-10th of each month. About 2 months ago my period was a week late. Didn't think anything of it because eventually it came on the 15th.Then another month came and I was a week later than the last cycle not starting until the 21st. The 21st until the 25th was my last one in August. About a week ago I started noticing I looked bloated, really bloated. And now starting yesterday I've had cramps and my back is hurting and I'm emotional like I'm about to start my period. But I just finished my "period" on the 25th of August so it can't be that. I guess I just want to know if I could have gotten pregnant a couple months ago while still having my "period" although it was late.I haven't taken a test yet, I just wanted some input from other people. Thanks so much!

Hello Anonymous,

You would not be pregnant if you have been having normal, though late periods.

During pregnancy, hormones keep the uterine lining intact. That is where the embryo has implanted and continues to grow and develop.

When you are not pregnant, hormone levels drop and cause the uterine lining to shed. That is the menstrual flow.

Hope this helps,
Maryann

My period was about a week late in June, last day being around the 4th of July possibly..and now its August 8th and I havent even begun to experience any PMS symptoms. Not many other pregnancy symptoms, and I have been pregnant before. But i had sex with someone for the first day on my last day of ovulation and no protection was used. I have a feeling, intuition i guess.. but i can't be sure and it might be too early to be worried about this. Was wanting a little feedback, to see if I'm imagining things or if I should get a test done. Had one done 2 weeks ago when i fractured my wrist but it was too early to tell at that point.
