Hi Anon - I'm sorry to hear you're in pain. It's really difficult to tell what you may be dealing with based on the information you've provided but I can provide some suggestions that may help you find some relief from the pain.

- Use a pillow between your knees when you sleep, to see if that helps.
- Some people have found that a heating pad helps.
- Make sure you are drinking enough water during the day; if the pain in a hip joint, that can help.
- Gentle exercise can sometimes help. You mention that walking seems to help, so perhaps additional, gentle exercise would also help.
- If you have access to a pool or hot tub or even a bath tub, a good soak in a hot tub can help with sore muscles if that's causing the problem.
- If you spend much time at a computer, make sure your chair is comfortable, at a good distance from the floor. Your feet should be flat on the floor, or you can use a foot stool for under the desk.
- Good posture can help with your pelvic muscles.

If the pain persists, or becomes worse, you need to see a healthcare provider for a physical exam and perhaps even some tests. Let us know if these suggestions help.
Take good care,
Pat
