It may very well be implantation bleeding-- though if it is, you may have actually conceived sooner than you think you did. Like Alison said, remember she just came off the pill and it may take some women a couple of months to get back to their regular ovulation cycle. This is not the case for everyone but do be aware of it.
As far as the symptoms, it may still be too early but many women swear they feel symptoms of pregnancy as soon as they conceive so it is all very, very subjective.
