I just wanted to agree with Rosa. I know how easy it is to worry at your age. There is so much information out there and everyone talks about things differently.

When you get your periods, that means you have started ovulating. Do you know what that is? It's when your body releases an egg that could be fertilized with sperm if you had sex. During the same time period, your uterus wall builds up soft tissue in case that egg is fertilized. If you don't have sex, the egg can't be fertilized, so you can't get pregnant. And if you don't get pregnant, you have a period. That's how your uterus gets rid of the extra tissue it built up.
