i'd love to know how you get on at the ENT. i'm in a very similar situation. for the last 3 years i have lost my voice every 3rd month, and i mean completely lost it, no hoarseness, just gone completely. in the last 4 months i have lost it every month without fail. the longest mine has lasted is 12 days....i'm currently on day 4 of this bowt.
i have been to the dr several times who tells me the same, it's just laryngitis, and to rest it. i've just tried to get another appointment but there's none available until next month.
i'm at the end of my tether!!
