Happy to have found this question posted, my son is 17 and has a big vericose vein in his leg that actually hurts. We have been to a vascular dr and done the whole compression sock thing for months. Now the recommend Sclerotherapy( which our insurance will not cover). I think I am going to call the pediatric dr listed here and see what they say. Thanks for all the info posted.
