Wow, I can't even believe a judge would say that. I honestly don't know what to think about Dr. Tiller but from what I know, he was from the town where my friend lives and he was said to have performed abortions for mothers who were pregnant with babies who had significant problems and short lives coming after birth. I am not saying that this justified his abortions but his patients were distraught and he was their last hope. That said, a life is a life--whether it was his or the babies aborted and I don't think that because of his career or choices it should be minimized to manslaughter. In no way, shape or form is murdering someone intentionally in a church manslaughter.
