Have you ever had ovarian cysts, or uterine fibroids, or been diagnosed with endometriosis?
When you have this vaginal bleeding, are you having any abdominal pain or cramping at the same time?
When this happens, are the bowel movements normal? Or are you particularly constipated (or having diarhhea) at the time?
When this happens, are you anywhere near your period starting or near ovulation? Or is it in a completely different time of the month? I know this may be a moot point since you are in the beginnings of menopause, but I am not sure how often you still have a period so I wanted to ask.
You may have a vaginal infection, in which case medication should make it stop entirely. Endometrial tissue can cause bleeding, as can a sensitive cervix. And while I don't want to scare you, it can also be a symptom of cervical cancer (though in most cases, it is not).
In any case, sounds like it's a good idea for you to make a doctor's appointment and have it checked out. Will you do that? And then get back to us with some of the answers to the above questions so perhaps we can find some more info for you?
