Nicole,

Plan B One Step does not necessarily cause you to bleed after taking it. This is something that a lot of women have been concerned about but it does interfere or change your period for the most part. After taking the pill, if you missed a period it could very well be a side effect of the medication. To be clear, these are the side effects listed under Plan B One Step's site:
* Changes in your period
* Nausea
* Lower Abdominal Pain
* Fatigue
* Headache
* Dizziness
* Breast Tenderness

Now, as far as the flu-like symptoms and pregnancy-- every woman is different. One woman could have constant nausea and vomiting another could be completely fine. The one thing I can say about the difference between both of them is that fever is not a symptom of pregnancy.

Since you did already miss a period, urine pregnancy tests are highly accurate. You can get one either at a drug store or even the dollar store-- no need to spend $25 to get it done at a doctor's office. In all honesty, it seems as though what you had were side effects that were unexpected because of your previous experience. I would venture to say you are not pregnant, you had some of the side effects listed (change in period, nausea) and that you did in fact have the flu or some sort of virus.

Hope this helps! Good Luck :)
