There is a real possibility of female circumcision and mandatory male circumcision in The US some day. We only have to look to the most recent presidential election to see the path. Elections are usually determined by a difference of only a few points in voter difference. In the past presidential election, African Americans voted in masse for Obama and he was elected. Once whites controlled the election booth but no more. Hispanics now have as much or more electorial power than African Americans and this same trend could be seen in Muslims if there were a mass imigration such as there has been with Hispanics. Just an influence of a few points difference could make the difference in Presidential and Congressional elections.
Already, there have been some calls in other countries for dual systems of law with Islamic Sharia law working side by side with the already established systems of law in some countries. This is similar to the influence exerted by African Americans on the political and legal system in The US. A massive influx of Muslims could have the same influence and such practices as female genital mutilation and mandatory male circumcision could become reality.
