Hi Allison. I had a thyroid sonogram to simply establish a baseline for size. They found a nodule on the left lower thyroid that is 1.9 cm and mostly solid. I also have an enlarged lymph node beside it. I was told that most of the time the solid nature means cancer and coupled with the lymph node is of great concern. I meet with my endo on Tuesday and will schedule a biopsy at that point. I'm terrified that I have cancer of the thyroid that is spreading. How do I manage this and carry a baby? I'm so tired from both preg and hypothyroidism(hashimoto goiter).
