Spotting with blood clots can simply be your oncoming period coming a bit earlier and the dark blood is most likely old blood. Unfortunately, although condoms are very effective they are not 100% guaranteed to prevent pregnancy.
I can say that when you get pregnant, bleeding in clots is NOT a symptom and if you are, chances are you are not pregnant. Many women actually never realize that they may have conceived because pregnancy is lost early through bleeding or clotting-- this doesnt mean there is anything wrong with you.
If you are still unsure about being pregnant, take a test the first week of March for peace of mind.
