Thank you for your post. Being on the pill for such a long time will sometimes cause a delay in ovulation when you stop taking it. However, this is not always the case. Believe it or not, some women who have taken the pill for years can begin ovulating right away after stopping the pill. So, in response to your question-- yes, it is possible for you to become pregnant when having unprotected sex even though you had previously been on the pill for 14 years. If you have a 28 day cycle and you did ovulate this month, your ovulation date would be around 14 days after the first day of your last period (on or around March 4). This week would be a strong ovulation week for you and you may want to use a condom or other form of birth control if you don't want to risk pregnancy.
