So as I understand it, this is the order of things:
* you were taking birth control pills
* you got your period
* the day after your period ended, you took your last pill
* you also had sex that day
* but you haven't had unprotected sex since

If that's the case, I feel fairly certain in saying that you're safe from a pregnancy. First, since you had just had your period, you probably were nowhere near ovulation yet (I am assuming that your cycle with the pills is 28 days long). Second, you did take a pill the day you had sex.
So I would think that as long as you have not had unprotected sex since then, you're not pregnant. But you need to be really careful now, while you're waiting for your pills to arrive, as this is about the time that you are probably ovulating. Sex this month should definitely NOT be unprotected. Use a condom until your pills get here and until you are 7 days into a new pack, OK?
