This is incorrect. Aetna does cover Gastric Bypass. And Lapband. You have to be overweight with a BMI of more than 40. You also have to do 6 months weigh ins and show you are willin to lose weight. If your not with a bmi of 40 you have to have sleep apnea, high blood pressure or diabetes to qualify. You also must be 18 years of age as well for it to be approved.
