I suggest you see your gynecologist, because vaginosis can be associated with other sexually transmitted disease as well as pelvic inflammatory disease, which is a big deal.
Typically, they won't treat your partner, but I'm more concerned for your health. In addition to treating, ideally you find the cause and make sure nothing else is going on.
