Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to write your thoughtful response. I guess the best thing for me to do is proceed with figuring out what is wrong with me, even if it isn't Lupus. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia several years ago and had my ups and downs with that, but never ever this severe, with the fever, rash and skin lesions.
So, I think I'm off to meet a Rheumatologist and see what they think about all of it. My GP sees no problem with my heading that direction.
