Hi Im not sure what period fluctations are could you please explaine to me?

I took a pregnancy test a few days ago now and it was still negative i have been getting wierd pains, that arent all that painful in my stomach and also in my lower back sometimes.
I get the feelings in my stomach more than once a day.
