Hi Hearthelp-

Have you spoken with your cardiologist about this? Sometimes you need a medication adjustment as time passes, but also tachycardia can have more than one source in your heart. So you can find the cells causing a problem, do an ablation, and then other cells in another spot can start causing problems. It all depends on the person and the heart and the issue.

You should definitely share this information with your cardiologist. It may not require another ablation. I can understand your hesitancy there. But untreated arrhythmias can cause stroke and many other problems, as I'm sure you've been told. So you really don't want to wait on this and see what happens. The answer may be as simple as meds.

We have a video about this here on the site which may help you: https://www.empowher.com/media/video/heart-arrhythmias-are-they-common-after-catheter-ablation-procedures-dr-su-video

Please call your cardiologist, and if we can be of further assistance, let us know.
