Im 19 and just had both gallstone and Gallbladder removal surgery. I had gallstones stuck in my common duct which caused my skin to turn yellow and I was vomiting non stop for 9 days. So its not impossible for you to have it too. However the only pain I experienced before that was a pain under my ribs and it felt like it was trapped wind but very tender to touch. I was told by many doctors it was just trapped wind/IBS/acid reflux but it turns out it was problems with my gallbladder. Im not sure if that describes what you have but I just wanted to let you know my experience of someone who did have a problem with the gallbladder. Blood tests showed I had a blockage with my liver but only an ultra sound would show the stones, so maybe talk to your doctor.
You could also look into ulcers. I was convinced that was what I had but turns out even though I had all the symptoms it was the gallbladder.
