Hi AkH-

It is possible you are pregnant any time you have unprotected sex, so it is certainly possible in your case. Some of the newer home pregnancy tests can be accurate 10 days after conception, others say wait a week after your missed period. Either way you are in the time frame where it is reasonable to take a home pregnancy test.

Occasionally there can be a false positive related to use of specific medications, so be sure and read the inserts that come with the test. That way you can skip any related meds for 24 hours if possible for a more accurate test.

Women's Health.gov has good information on this topic: http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/pregnancy-tests.cfm and of course we have a great page because this is one of our most common questions: https://www.empowher.com/condition/reproductive-system or https://www.empowher.com/condition/pregnancy

Good luck to you! If we can help further, please write again.
