Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern about not having a period for three months.

High levels of stress can cause a delay or missed period. During times of high stress, the body produces more cortisol. Higher than normal levels trigger the body to shut down non-essential functions. The menstrual cycle is one such function.

Extreme changes in weight, either gaining or losing, can also have an effect on your menstrual cycle.

This is indeed a time of high stress for you. Do your best to find ways to relax and de-stress.
