IBC is not very common, but what is more common are infections of the breast. Infections are identified only by seeing your doctor, and symptoms include warm-to-the-touch and pain/tenderness and swelling.
Please call your doctor right away, so you can be properly diagnosed and treated. Infections are usually very easy to treat with antibiotics, and the sooner you are treated, the faster the recovery.
