My sister's husband went through something similar. His general doctor sent him to an urologist - he went back and forth between the 2 doctors for about 2 years. In the end, he finally had a CT scan and a PEP scan. He was diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer. I would start researching and make an appoointment with your general doctor immediately.
