Any time you have unprotected sex you risk pregnancy. I don't quite understand whether you are trying to get pregnant or avoid pregnancy from your question.

Your cycle is sounding very irregular. I think it might be wise to do a pregnancy test and see if that is what's happening with you. When you use an over-the-counter test, be sure and read the instructions carefully, because they are not the same for every test. If you don't follow the directions, you could have a false result.

Even if your test is not positive, I suggest you call your gynecologist. You are pretty young and that is a big change in your cycle. It's a good idea to get checked out and be sure you don't have any kind of health issue there. A little irregularity is very common, but 4 short periods in one month is not.
