I was diagnosed in 2000 with Fibromyalgia. I have constant widespread pain. I am currently on several medications Savella
50 mg (twice a day) Neurotin 600 mg. 4 times a day. Soma (300 mg) up to 3 times a day for muscle contractions. I have to take Ambien (10) to sleep. I have been diagnosed with Panic Disorder also. I have been on cymbalta and Vioxx before. Sometimes I am ok however when the weather is bad is when my pain seems to radiate first in was in my shoulders, massage therapy helped, then my arms again massage therapy help. It gets expensive for someone on a fixed income but I did manage. Now it has settled in my legs. I wear compression hose and have an aero spa machine similar to the stockings the hospital puts on you after surgery.
My other medications are Ativan, Corguard, Diovan Mobic, Allerga, Fiorcet, Norvasc, Premarin, and Prevacid. A lot of medications. If you know of other resources and advise please let me know I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Donna
