Hi Melanie,
I am sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with postpartum hypothyroidism, but the good news is that this condition usually only lasts a few months after giving birth. This condition means that after delivery, due to pregnancy hormones, your thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone.
What has your doctor said about your individual treatment options, or is it expected to remedy itself within the predicted 3 or more months post-delivery (per your doctor's instructions)?

You can read EmpowHER's hypothyroidism condition page for more information.
