I know...it is confusing to know when you are ovulating. I think that is the reason there are so many ovulation predictor kits on the market, and even these can only claim to be "predictors", as it is impossible to pinpoint ovulation at its exact moment. For ease of conversation, it is said that a woman with a "perfect" 28-day cycle will ovulate on "day 14", about mid-way through her cycle. If "day 1" is the first day of her period, and her period lasts 4-5 days, then she may ovulate 10 days after she stops bleeding. Please know that there is not a woman who has a "perfect" cycle every -single time in her life, and woman can ovulate at any time during their cycle. Even if they are usually around the middle of the month, they can ovulate "early" or "late" for no apparent reason one month. This is the reason that fertility experts are advising couples trying to conceive to have "frequent sex throughout the month, regardless of timing in cycle".

I'm not sure why you feel swollen inside your vagina during sex. Do you have any pain with intercourse? Are you feeling like you are adequately self-lubricating? Do you feel that there is enough "foreplay" that you are excited and relaxed enough, and not feeling rushed (and, hence, muscles are tense?).
