I am 47 & feel I'm pre menopausal & feel I've been for awhile. Its been two years since I been to my gyn, because of relocating i need to find a new gyn Dr. a few years back I started with mood swings, hot flashes, insomnia, crying spells, etc. Someone got me to try I-cool & it really seemed to help with most of those symptoms. Those symptoms were not totally gone but much better. about 15 years ago I was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder so Ive been taking a ton of supplements for quit some time. About 5 years ago my rheumatologist ran some blood work & found out I was vitamin D defficient, she put me on a mega dose of D, got back @ normal D levels. However my D seems to want to drop to the lower levels so I take 2000 mg per day & that's seems to keep it regulated. I take calcium, magnesium 500 mg per day(helps with leg/muscle cramps), stress B, 1000 mg C, selenium, zinc..just started taking coconut oil & amino acids. I want to & will add pro-biotics since reading everyone's suggestions. I also have IBS, & a bladder condition called interstitial cystitis. I am on medicine that helps this however I still had a ton of gas & bloating so I have been trying the gluten free diet for at least 6 months now. I am not totally gluten free , but the change has seemed to help that for the most part. Just in this past year & a half I've been getting a ton of yeast infections & breast tenderness is aweful. i started to do some research wondering if the yeast infections could have anything to do with menopause & found out that it does. I will be making an apt with a gyn to run some tests to see if my thyroid & other hormones are off. I am glad to have seen all this before I go because I really want to try natural as well. Thank you for all the advice...
