Also a few more IMO to add: Drink sufficient water so urine is clear pale yellow. Urinate BEFORE and after sexual intercourse to prevent impact of thrust force against a full bladder. Choose underwear that has a cotton lining & avoid "thong" type panties. Avoid scented chemical additives to bath water and the use of powders, lotions, etc. in perineal area. Avoid hot tubs. As a diabetic you are somewhat more prone to infection, especially if your blood glucose is not well under control...so do frequent checks to maintain blood glucose stability.
