Hi again Paranoid,

I am exactly the same way as you. I have experienced irregular periods for many many years. I went without a period for well over 8 months one time and there was nothing really wrong with me, although my physician ended up giving me a prescription to force my period to start. After that, they prescribed me the Pill in order to regulate my period.

Since you have irregular periods, you should look into birth control methods to regulate your period. My own personal preference was to take the Pill since this still caused you to have a period. I didn't like the idea of having no periods at all as some birth control methods maintain.

Any changes in your lifestyle will certainly cause delayed periods as well.

Have you talked to your physician about these alternatives?
