The area between your belly button and pubic bone consists of your uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and bladder. Your bladder can feel very hard when it is full.
Have you been to your doctor, if you think you have been pregnant? I have never heard the term "ghost pregnancy"...are you trying to become pregnant?
Your uterus can not "think" that it was supporting a pregnancy. Did you miss any periods? Are you having unprotected sex?
If a woman is pregnant, her uterus would continue to expand to accommodate the growing baby as long as she is carrying the baby.
