I sometimes get this pain when im going to get my period, but im still days away from getting it. It just hurts really bad. Im concerned if that would have anything to do with kidney stones. I do drink water but just not that much. I dont really just want to hear " you should go to a doctor" i would please like an opinion.

Thanks!!

Hello Anonymous,

I can imagine how frightening this must be. Have you ever had this type of pain before? Have you told your mother?

If the pain persists or worsens, please have your parent call the pediatrician's office.

If the pain goes away, you must mention it to your pediatrician during your next visit.

Now, I don't want to scare you but I found information that might relate to your pain.

Endometriosis might be the cause.

Endometriosis frequently begins in adolescence. It can be passed genetically from mothers to their daughters.

It occurs when cells that normally grow in the lining of the uterus start growing in other parts of the body, such as in the abdominal cavity, ovaries, fallopian tubes, bowel, bladder or the area between the vagina and rectum.

The primary symptom of endometriosis is pelvic pain, often associated with the menstrual period.

To diagnose endometriosis and other conditions that can cause pelvic pain, your doctor will ask you to describe your symptoms, including the location of your pain and when it occurs.

Hi, this morning I woke up and felt extremely dizzy, and I thought it was just because I was tired but later on in the day I got a dull pain in my lower right abdomen, after one or two hours the pain started increasing, I told my mom (I'm 13 (girl) ) And she said it could be an infection, I fear that it is apendicitis though. She told me it could also be that I needed to poop but when I went to the bathroom to urinate it hurt like I had pressed on the area of the pain because When I press on the center of the pain and release quickly, it hurts even more so please if anyone has any I formation I would love to hear it.

Hello,
I also woke up this morning and felt almost the same exact pain you were. I know that it can't be my period because I have it it yet (I am a 11 year old girl). So I don't know what to do either.

Have you been puking at all? Those symptoms sound a lot like your appendix exploding. My sister's appendix exploded and your pain sounds a lot like her pain when it exploded. I would recommend going to the doctor to see.

Hi Anonymous,

Are you still having the pain?

If so, your mother must call the pediatrician's office. With a physical exam, the doctor can determine the cause.

Keep me updated.

Hi Anonymous,

There is nothing you need to do. When you first start to menstruate your periods can be a bit irregular. As your body adjusts, your menstrual cycles should become more regular.
