A few reasons I say that:
1. Women do not ovulate when they are using hormonal contraception. One of the many ways "the pill" works is by preventing ovulation (release of an egg). Of course, when you miss pills, they are not as effective, and you could ovulate during that time. You missed two pills in-a-row, so it could happen, but not highly likely.
2. Breakthrough bleeding is not a sign of pregnancy. Bleeding is actually a pretty good sign that you are not pregnant. It is the absence of bleeding that can indicate a pregnancy. Bleeding may happen during a pregnancy, but this could indicate a problem with the pregnancy; it is not the usual circumstance.
3. You had sex 7 days ago. It takes 10-14 days after ovulation (assuming you ovulated) for a woman to even become pregnant. It is actually quite a process from the release of an egg, the egg to be fertilized in the fallopian tube, then travel all the way down to the uterus, where it finds a place, and implants. It is not until this time (again, 10-14 days) that a women would have a viable pregnancy, have any pregnancy signs or symptoms, because she is not physically pregnant with a viable pregnancy until the fertilized egg implants into the uterus. It is only after implantation that the "pregnancy hormones" kick in, and these hormones are the "culprit" to many of the pregnancy symptoms.

Since you started bleeding, and it is a "flow", and you are experiencing many symptoms that could either be interpreted as menstrual symptoms or pregnancy symptoms (depending on what you WANT the symtpoms to be). The most reasonable explanation is that you are having a period.

It sounds like you are feeling defensive, and I'm interpreting your response as you are wanting to be pregnant...are you feeling disappointed that you may not be? I'm sorry; it is difficult to be on this emotional rollercoaster of not knowing if you are pregnant, not knowing you WANT to be pregnant until you have a "scare", etc.

What you can do: take a home pregnancy test now. It will not be as effective, but it can put your mind at ease that the symptoms you are feeling are most likely not pregnancy-related. Nothing is 100%, and perhaps all of the stars aligned and you did happen to ovulate at the time you missed two pills and had sex...that is why I say pregnancy is "unlikely", but not impossible.

If the test is negative, wait until September 1st to take another pregnancy test. It would be reliable once you miss your regular period.

Good luck, and please let us know how you are doing.
