Thanks for the additional information, Augusta, but this is still puzzling. Can you go to the dermatology appointment with your friend? It would help to ask the dermatologist to provide the name of the diagnosis that the first doctor has given your friend, and the dermatologist's diagnosis too. Is the cream helping at all? How's she doing? If you can find out the type of cream she is using we can get you more information about it and that may help somewhat but we really need to better understand the medical diagnosis to help you help her.
