i want to have my hymen repaired, and i wanted to know if all hymens can be repaired

Thank you for your question, and for finding EmpowHER.
Regardless of why you want to have it repaired, there is a myth related to the hymen about virginity. It is said to differentiate a girl from a woman, or a virgin from someone who has been sexually active. In truth, exercise, the use of tampons, and masturbation can break the hymen. Yet, the hymen/virgin myth still is proliferated in some cultures. Here is an article about that:

Having said that, in answer to your question, the option of surgery is available. However, a man will never know you have had sexual intercourse before unless you tell him, so consider for yourself if you truly need to undergo the procedure. It may be a waste of money designed by doctors who know there's a market out there. Should you have the procedure and not tell, or just not tell? You decide.

wwll, i wanna have it done cuz of a culture reason.. im getting married in december, and if he finds out that im not a virgin he wont marry me.
