Missing one birth control pill, and taking it as soon as you remember, does not create an increased risk of pregnancy. It sounds like you did not take the pill from Thursday that you missed, and it is important to follow the directions on your prescription to "make up" the missed pill. You may double-up on the same day with the pill, and it does not need to be taken at the same time as your other (Friday) pill (it can cause nausea).

Since you never took the missed pill, I am unsure what your increased risk of pregnancy is...however, it would be slight since you took the remainder of your pills on time, plus took Emergency Contraception.

Please know women forget to take pills, this is to be expected, but you can choose to use a condom after you miss a pill...and you would not have the worry and anxiety.

You will need to wait until your next "period", but I can only reassure you that your chances of pregnancy are extremely low with your description. Also, please know that Plan B can cause some irregular cycles, so your period may be delayed (and does not necessarily mean you are pregnant).

Good luck!
