Hi anne79,
Thank you for your question and for finding EmpowHER.
PCOS can be tricky, particularly when it comes to trying to get pregnant. Do you have a doctor or midwife you are working with to help you get pregnant? Have they suggested any other methods to help induce ovulation?
I looked up evening primrose oil. Why are you taking it? If it's for the breast pain, it sounds like it's not working? Was this drug suggested by a health care professional?
Here's information I found specifically related to that: "GLA is also a popular treatment for cyclic mastalgia (breast pain that cycles with the menstrual period), but the evidence regarding its effectiveness is more negative than positive." Here is the full link so you can read up about it yourself: https://www.empowher.com/media/reference/gamma-linolenic-acid-gla
How long have you been trying to get pregnant? What methods have you tried? Have you talked with a doctor about infertility?
I think we need more information. Let me know if this information helps and how else we can help you.
