Hi Lioness111 - Wow, I always have a smile after I read your articles. You have been through so very much in your medical treatments yet you continue to find a way to see the humor in situations and keep your focus on your faith and family. It's funny, isn't it, how things that would seem catastrophic to normal, healthy people can be bumps in the road when you are going through the months and even years of non-stop cancer therapies. Good for you!!

And, yes, your writings are helping other people and mean a lot. I am fortunate to meet people with cancer almost every day and I would say about 95% of them will not discuss their situation publicly and even have trouble talking about what's on their minds with their close friends. To me it is very important that we not keep the realities of cancer, and everything that comes with it, behind closed doors because the lack of knowledge and understanding truly hurts patients when their friends and family members expect the "Hollywood" version of cancer and end up with a real human being with real hurts, pain, problems, questions and the whole topsy turvy world of treatment. You make things very REAL for your readers and for that all of us at EmpowHER are very appreciative.

Keep on hanging in there, and we hope you will get your Internet connection back soon because we will miss you very much while you are gone.

Take good care,
Pat
