Sorry...I misunderstood!

The non-active "sugar" pills do not change anything about your cycle. If you do or don't take them...nothing will change.

You should be getting your period during the 7 days you take the sugar pills, and by the time you start your new pack, your period would be over or nearly-over.

To say it in another way: your withdrawal bleeding ("period") begins when you STOP taking the active/hormone-containing pills. So, when these pills in your pack are at the end, and you begin taking your sugar pills, that is when your "period" should begin. If you do not take the sugar pills, and just wait the seven days to start your new pack, this is fine...it does not change anything. You can totally skip taking the sugar pills, as they are just reminders about when to begin your next pack.

Does that answer your question? If not, can you ask your question in another way...what are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to change when your period begins, or trying to not have a period this cycle? Or, are you just curious what happens when you don't take the sugar pills (I hope I answered that question for you).
