Applying a hand cream after washing and wearing a cream at night with cotton gloves are great tips. I use an amazing beesweax based product by mama nature. When I have day of household chores I apply salvation in the morning to the top surface of my hands as I don't want it on my palms as it is quite waxy. This stops the water from getting to my skin and is healing at the same time. Amazing. I also smear it on before going to bed and wear my coton gloves. My hands are now in the best condition for the past ten years.
