Hi,
Many women are worried about what medications, drugs (including alcohol or nicotine) or other activities they engaged in while they were pregnant...in the weeks before they knew they were pregnant.

It is important to first call your prescribing doctor--the doctor(s) who prescribed all of these medications--and let them know you are pregnant, not sure how far along, and how to begin gradually taking yourself off of medications. It can be potentially dangerous to abruptly stop medications, and you need to talk with your doctor before stopping prescription treatment.

Second, if you are not able to talk with an OB/GYN, you can look up your individual prescriptions and medications at: OTIS. If you do not see your specific medication listed, you can call their toll free number and talk with a teratology information specialist at: 1-866-626-6847.
