Hi. I have the same problem. In 2015 my hair was cut into a chin length Bob. When it grew out, the left side grew inches longer than the right. I didn't notice it until the fall of that year (it was a long bob by then past my shoulders in the front) and was perplexed. It's only in the front. I have very thin fine hair. I was at work one day and someone asked me if I cut my hair. I said no. I was sitting at my desk and went to swipe my hair behind my shoulders and somehow realized that it was shorter on the right side, like muscle memory made me realize it wasn't as long as before when I would brush it back behind my shoulders. I verified this with the girls at work and my family and they all said they had recently noticed it over the past months but had thought it was just cut that way. At that time, I really thought someone in my household cut my hair as a prank of something, it was that obvious. But no one had. At the time my scalp was clear and had no issues other than thinking maybe it was our well water or the shampoos I was using. So I started using different products. My family thought it was my flat iron burning off the hair so I bought a new one. But it never did it anywhere else. I even had my hair trimmed to even out the length. Fast fwd to fall 2016, still having the same issue. The right side of my hair in the front will not grow. It is noticeably inches shorter than the rest of my hair. Now, since last year, I have issues with my skin and scalp. I have no idea if it's related or not. I have what I am calling a cyst on the right side of my scalp where the hair isn't growing. It is pea sized and flesh colored and is under the scalp. it's not hard like bone, but not movable or super squishy either. Sometimes it will get flaky and scabish around that area. It's located on the top front right side of my scalp close to my middle part. also since last year, I have had changes to the left side of my crown part of my scalp. Areas that feels flaky but won't peel and have gotten worse. it's not dandruff or pests or anything like that. It doesn't itch although sometimes I will get dry scalp unrelated to this area. on top of all this I also have several moles that I has removed when I was 13 on my back that have re growth starting inside the margins of the scars and new moles. I have a weird patch of what looks like freckles (no dimpling) near one changing removed mole on my back. This is the only place on my body that looks like this. It itches occasionally and I have pain behind it in that area intermittently. In Oct. 2016 I had been eating a normal diet of basically anything I want. I didn't have any other current health concerns like high BP or diabetes etc. I've always been small and had a high metabolism. I got sick and had a two week hospitalization with multiple tests. I had been having issues after eating certain foods over the course of 6 months but hadn't realized any common denominators. I ate pizza one day for lunch and got so sick with pain between my shoulder blades and sternum as well as esophageal spasms that I couldn't eat or drink for days. I was hospitalized and tests run, EGD, upperGI, CT scan, echo, X-rays, labs, U/S, HIDA scan, barium swallow x2, etc. My Gallbaldder didn't have stones or thickening, normal labs, but did have slow motility. I lost 10 pounds over the course of a week and 5 more up to this point. It took me from 2008 to 2016 to gain 6 pounds eating anything I wanted, but I've lost 15 pounds since being sick in oct and down to 95 currently. I have radically changed my diet and avoid foods that bother me but the weight loss is very apparent. I've had fatigue recurrently and try to pace myself if I schedule too many activities in the weekends. I have a Derm appt scheduled for April, the earliest they could get me in. I have no idea if any of this is related but I will let you know what I find out. Has anyone else gotten any answers?
