No, you are not pregnant. Pregnancy does not actually occur until around the time of your period (implantation of a fertilized egg). The reason: it takes 10-14 days after unprotected sex (during ovulation) for the egg to become fertilized, travel from the fallopian tubes into the uterus, where it finds a cozy spot to implant. In other words: pregnancy does not happen the second you have unprotected sex!

What you engaged in is called the "withdrawal method". It is only about 70-80% effective at preventing pregnancy, as the man can accidentally ejaculate without enough time to move away from the woman's vagina.

The withdrawal method is basically unprotected sex without ejaculation. It is not a good idea to practice this form of sex unless you are OK with the possibility of becoming pregnant in the future.

If your partner did not ejaculate, there is a very low risk of pregnancy. The penis has "pre-ejaculatory fluid" ('pre-cum') on the tip once it becomes erect, but most experts believe this fluid does not contain sperm (unless there was ejaculation previously).
