Hi JennyL,
Thanks for your question and for joining EmpowHER. Anytime you forget to take your pills and have intercourse without using a backup method, you run the risk of getting pregnant. We are not doctors and can't give you odds on your pregnancy risk. When taken correctly, your pills are 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. Keep taking your pills and you may want to throw away your current pack and start over with a new pack when you are able to get one.
For more information, please review these articles: Missing Birth Control Pills and Concerned About Pregnancy: Q&A, and Oops! Missed Birth Control Pill Advocacy Sheet.
If you are really concerned about getting pregnant, you may want to use a backup method of birth control (condoms, withdrawal, etc.) for the next week at least, and possibly for the rest of this cycle until you get your next period to not put yourself at further risk.
Good luck and let us know how you're doing.
