If you have concerns about your intimacy, you should certainly talk to him and explain what you expect out of the relationship. In your instance, you two were already following his beliefs about sex prior to marriage and I am assuming you were okay with it at that time. What has changed your mind after the sexual experience? These are the things you should share with him.
