Hi Ladyfair88,
Anytime you don't use any kind of contraception and have intercourse, you increase your chances of getting pregnant. In any given month, a woman of childbearing age in good reproductive health can have a 20% chance of conceiving when not using any kind of birth control. The surest way to know if you are pregnant typically is a missed period. If you expect your period and don't get it at that time, you can take a home pregnancy test or call your doctor to request a pregnancy test.
