Progesterone is actually an important hormone in pregnancy, and the best thing for you to do is talk with your doctor about the exact prescription you are taking. Is the prescription to help your fertility, and to help you conceive (by stimulating your ovaries)?

Regarding your other questions, there are suggestions to help women improve their fertility in relation to diet and exercise, and you can read the articles below:
- Fertility Boosting Foods
- Fertility Herbs: Do they work?

Hope this helps---let us know if you have any additional questions, and please call your doctor to ask him/her questions about your specific diagnosis and treatment (part of the treatment process is telling your doctor you are TTC--trying to conceive--, so that any drugs given are safe during early pregnancy, or your doctor would tell you that you need to wait before TTC until after treatment has concluded). This is an important conversation to have with your doctor!
