Hi,
I just answered your question through a personal message (PM), but for others reading this question...wouldn't it be great if we could exercise and eat healthy for a week, and magically reach our weight loss goal?

Of course, there is no amount of portion control, healthy eating or exercise that could lead a person to lose this extraordinary amount of weight in 7 days. A healthy, sustainable weight loss goal of 0.5 to 1.0 pounds per week is a realistic and achievable goal...you can start there!

If you want to see immediate results...there are a few tricks you can try:
- Body sculpting. Participate in a 2 body sculpting classes, and you may be able to see a few new muscles you did not notice before, and this can be motivating! Try a gym out for a week (some are free for first week on a trial basis, or rent a DVD exercise video).
- Plyometrics or Boot Camp exercises. This is free...and you have all you need in front of you! Plyometrics are exercises that use your own body weight, and also include a cardiovascular component. Think jumping jacks, plank position, push ups, walking lunges, squats, etc.
- Core workout. Increase core workouts (every-other day for those starting out) by doing crunches, using a medicine ball, plank position or other exercises can help you feel that your stomach is becoming stronger and tighter in just a few workouts.
- Eat healthy. Choose to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables this week, as well as lean proteins. Substitute a few dinners with a healthy and filling salad, and the fiber will keep you feeling full.
- Drink water. Drinking water helps you feel full, and not indulge in high calorie snacks.

These are just a few hints to help your body feel better this week, so that you might lose up to 1 pound, but feel stronger, leaner and healthier.
