Brilliant, topical subject and what is being said by ALL Go Indie! enthusiasts. Yes, Amanda Hocking is, and continues to be self-published. In spite of her St. Martins Press contract [watch those royalty statements, Amanda ;] she will continue to IndiePub. Why? Because her TradPub contract will not start paying out against her advance until mid-2013. Then, in the 'Empowered' category, there is Barry Eisler, Boyd Morrison, and a whole host of other IndiePub authors who are tracked by guru Robin Sullivan on the Kindle page.

Self-publishing coaches, like myself, are even being contacted by their Traditional publishing coach siblings for tips and lessons. Hopefully, not too many of the IndiePubs will fork over their clients and revenue to these lonely traditional publishers who thumbed their noses at us up until [thank you!] Hocking made headlines.

Actually, the Hocking story was making the heavy-hitter circuit a month ago, but it's nice to see as many writers as possible picking up the spin. so, thanks! Aimee.

Now, if we could just weed out the Greg Mortenson's of the literary world! OMGosh! You don't know that story? Look it up! ;D
